Boy Scouts and Atheists
I was surprised to read Kogel’s comments. Her statement has nothing to do with the Scouts’ ouster of the two boys. Whatever Kogel’s point was about nonbelievers versus believers, which is a whole other subject, it has nothing to do with the right of a private organization to make rules that have to be followed by all of those who want to be included in that organization.
