Beverly Johnson of Newport Beach is doing that today for her mother, Amy Johnson, 88, above, who lives at the Regents Point retirement center in Irvine. . . . “She’s loved the show for many years,” Johnson says. Welk is retired, but she hired a touring group of Welk stars, including Bobby Burgess and Ken Delo. Nearly 300 people will see it.
