THE GREAT DIVIDE
Michael D’Antonio’s piece on the division in the Southern Baptist Church (“The Great Divide,” Nov. 17) is a scathing portrait of the theological disease known as fundamentalism. Their ministers preach exactly what their congregations want to hear, that Jesus only loves white, conservative, married, heterosexual people with two children.
