EARLY PEACE: The idea is to “focus on peace around the planet.” But those doing so with the First Church of Religious Science in Fullerton will first have to focus on getting out of bed. The church, a local host for the sixth annual Peace Meditation on New Year’s Eve, says the goal of the worldwide observance is to pursue peace through mental energy. Problem is, the observance is at noon, Greenwich Mean Time. That’s 4 a.m. in Orange County.
