Bank Customer to Fight Extradition
A customer who complicated a botched bank robbery with his antics and would-be heroics will fight extradition to Florida, where he is wanted on bad check charges, officials said Thursday.
Because Robert Charles Gregory, 30, refused to return voluntarily, officials here will ask Florida to seek his forced return, said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Dick Olson.
The FBI began a search for a link between the robber responsible for Tuesday’s holdup at a Bank of America branch and unsolved bank robberies, said FBI agent Karen Gardner. The robber, Jaime Sabogal, 38, shot himself to death shortly after the holdup.
