Cutting Social Security Tax by 2%

Now that it is accepted by everyone that we are in a recession, is it time to turn back to the immutable truths of Ronald Reagan to cure the ills of the country?

First, the linchpin of all the Reaganisms is the statement “government is the problem, not the solution.” Somehow, this may not play anymore in Peoria.

The third Reaganism to be recalled, however, does have a ring of truth. He was so right when he said, “it is mourning in America.” Lest those of you who think “morning” has been misspelled, let’s try it the other way. It is indeed “morning in America,” and boy, do we have a hangover.
