We Need Miracles to Renew Our Hope

Share

Thank you for printing on the Front Page (Dec. 21) the article about the miraculous recovery of Dawna Munson, mother of four young children who became comatose after giving birth to twins. We need to hear these stories of miracles that do come true.

Although senseless tragedies occur daily, Dawna Munson’s story evoked my tears and affronted my understanding more than many others have done. Why and how could this happen to a young mother of four children, I wondered; Where was Justice? Where was God? Even though I will probably never meet Dawna Munson or her family, I rejoice with them that she is now home with her husband and children.

Her healing replenishes our hope and our optimism and proves that our world has not yet precluded the possibility of miracles.
