ALR Selling to Beijing University: Advanced Logic Research Inc., an Irvine maker of personal computers, said Wednesday that is has sold more than 1,700 computers in the past eight months to Beijing University. The university’s governing committee has selected ALR as the top choice for PC purchases. David Kirkey, vice president of worldwide sales, said international sales account for 40% of company sales, though the Chinese market remains a small portion of the total.
