Malibu : Hearing on Development
The Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission will hold a public hearing today on a proposed ordinance establishing new regulations for developments in sensitive environmental areas of the coastal zone in the Malibu area.
The proposed ordinance, which would apply only to unincorporated territory outside the city, would implement the natural resource protection policies of the Malibu Land Use Plan, which was adopted by the County Board of Supervisors and the California Coastal Commission in 1986.
The hearing will be held at 9 a.m. in Room 150 of the Hall of Records, 320 W. Temple St., Los Angeles.
