After missing a court appearance Wednesday in Torrance, Raider quarterback Todd Marinovich pleaded not guilty Friday to a misdemeanor disturbance charge.

A warrant issued for Marinovich’s arrest after his failure to appear in municipal court was withdrawn after his attorney entered the plea for him. Gary Pohlson also paid a $100 fine for his client.

Marinovich missed the court date because he misread the citation, said an aide to Pohlson.
