Dave Coombs has been appointed vice president of marketing for Archive Technology Inc., a supplier of data cartridge tape drives. Coombs succeeds Fred Richardson, who recently assumed the post of general manager of Cipher Data Products Inc., a subsidiary of Archive Corp. in Costa Mesa. For the past six months, Coombs had been a consultant to the company.
