Ram Fans Want Team That Runs Smoothly, Not One With Knox

When I heard on the radio that Chuck Knox had accepted the Ram coaching job, I was surprised because, while it will be a big plus for the Rams, Knox is too fine a coach and person, as was John Robinson, to subject himself to the frustrations of living in a no-win situation.

Ever since Carroll Rosenbloom spotted him as an assistant coach for the Lions and brought him to L.A., Knox has been a winner and a gentleman. I feel it was poor judgment on his part to have joined an organization that does not have the class commensurate with his own.
