PDA Engineering: The Costa Mesa provider of high-tech products and engineering services reported profit of $968,000, or 20 cents per share, for its fiscal 1992 second quarter, up 47% from the $660,000, or 14 cents per share, posted for the like period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was flat at $10 million. For the first six months of fiscal 1992, net earnings totaled $1.2 million, or 26 cents per share, 9% higher than $1.1 million, or 23 cents per share, in the first half of fiscal 1991. Revenue rose 2%, to $18.5 million, from $18.2 million.
