Temple City : Survey on Anti-Noise Wall
The City Council agreed Tuesday to survey residents along the west edge of Live Oak Park to determine whether a wall should be constructed to minimize noise from park-users.
One resident at Tuesday’s meeting said the park has become increasingly noisy over the years. She said living next to it is like having a neighbor who has parties of 150 people each weekend.
A member of an informal basketball players group said that though he sympathizes with the problem of residents, people at parks simply make noise.
Community Services Director Victor Kobett said the survey would be mailed to residents along Ryland Avenue in about two weeks.
