Problem of Illegal Aliens

I believe your editorial “The Problem Is Not the Immigrants” (Jan. 20) is misleading because you have mixed the issue related to the legal immigrants with those pertaining to the illegal immigrants. The major problem for us in this country is the illegal immigrants first and foremost because they have entered the country illegally. Giving illegal immigrants the same rights and status, as you suggest in your editorial, as legal immigrants is what is so maddening to those of us who want to see an end to illegal immigration.
