RESPONDING TO OH, GROW UP!

One of your letter-writers responded to “Oh, Grow Up!” (by Lynn Smith, Nov. 17) with pure disgust for those of us who broke through the barriers way back then but supposedly sold out later. Worse still, we are accused of leaving no legacy for the younger generation.

If you want a legacy, practice making one every single day of your life for 30 to 50 years. Forget complaining about the past or looking for answers from other people.
