SEEING HOME AGAIN: Vietnamese residents are hungry for books about their homeland (E1). To meet the need, the Orange County Public library spends about $45,000 a year on Vietnamese books and materials for 13 branches. The branch in Westminster, home of Little Saigon, houses the library system’s largest Vietnamese collection--5,000 volumes. . . . “The people miss their country; these books relieve them of their homesickness,” the library’s Mimi Bui says.
