Reporter for Pro-Kurdish Magazine Killed in Turkey

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey —
A reporter working for a pro-Kurdish magazine in this southeastern Turkish city was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in his office Tuesday, witnesses said.
They said the body of Halit Gungen, 22, was found in the Istanbul-based magazine’s Diyarbakir office. A senior security official said the motive for the killing was not immediately clear.
