Rowland Heights : Chinese New Year Event

Chinese dragon and lion dances, Japanese drummers, Filipino and Mexican folk dancers, and Korean musicians will participate in an international festival and food fair this weekend in celebration of Chinese New Year.

Food booths will offer many varieties of Asian cuisine, and there will be a stage for the music and dance acts, which include the Rowland High School Jazz Band, a karaoke sing-along and a Chinese kung fu demonstration.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the parking lot of Hong Kong Supermarket, 18414 Colima Road. The event is free and open to the public.
