Police Allegedly Lent Reporter Gambling Money

PHILADELPHIA —
A police reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer has been suspended because he allegedly borrowed money for gambling from the police commissioner and other officers. Robert J. Terry, 55, was placed on indefinite leave with pay for violating the newspaper’s ethics policy, editor Maxwell E. P. King said Tuesday.
