K-Swiss Profit Rises 7% in 4th Quarter

K-Swiss Inc., a Pacoima maker of athletic footwear, said its fourth-quarter profit rose 7% from a year earlier on a 4% increase in revenue.

In the quarter ended Dec. 31, K-Swiss’ net income climbed to $1.32 million from $1.24 million a year earlier, while its revenue rose to $20.2 million from $19.4 million.

For all of 1991, K-Swiss’ earnings jumped 21%, to $8.79 million from $7.24 million in 1990, and its annual revenue also rose 21%, to $119 million from $98 million.
