Pen Gives Your Words an Added Squiggle
If you enjoy drawing, you might try Squiggle Wiggle Writer, a motorized pen that makes squiggles of many sizes, shapes and designs. Designed by Rick Christen, a Portland, Ore., firefighter, the pen takes a little time to get used to because it’s much fatter than a regular pen. The trick is how and where you hold it. Try a tight or loose grip and you’ll see the difference in designs. If you hold the pen near its point, it makes tiny squiggles; put your fingers around the middle and the squiggles get bigger.
Squiggle Wiggle Writer ($7 to $9) comes with three pen tips--red, green and blue--and runs on a AA battery (not included).
