Nebraska running back Scott Baldwin remained in a Lincoln, Neb., jail without bond after his attorney entered pleas of innocent and innocent by reason of insanity on two assault charges.
County District judge Paul Merritt set a trial date for the week of April 6 for Baldwin in the Jan. 18 alleged beating of a 23-year-old Lincoln woman.
