A Few Words About TV Coverage

Never since the television coverage of the Olympic Games started has the reporting been so inadequate, according to the people I have talked to, and the different write-ups in the papers seem to have the same opinion.

When ABC televised the Calgary Games four years ago, ABC did an excellent job. This time CBS really blew it.

Constantly jumping from one thing to another and interrupting all the events with commercials made the whole thing almost unbearable.
