Offering the views of the Stecker family as representative of Christian home schooling (“A Fundamental Education,” by Ann Japenga, Jan. 26) is like presenting Ku Klux Klan members as typical Southerners. If the author had chosen to interview a sampling of the hundreds of families in Orange County involved in home education, she would have found that most of us own televisions, read newspapers and subscribe to magazines. Our children are involved in Scouts, Little League and a variety of other organizations.
