Elvis Stamp

Germany was five years ahead of the United States in issuing the Elvis Presley stamp. The German stamp depicts Elvis the way most of his fans want to remember him: earlier rather than later.

When my husband returned from a business trip to Munich in September, 1988, he brought me a sheet of Elvis stamps, which is framed and hanging on my Elvis memorabilia wall.
