Praise and Criticism for ‘Then and NOW’

Thanks for the articles about the National Organization for Women (“Then and NOW,” Feb. 24).

I noted with satisfaction that there were no gratuitous descriptions of how (NOW president) Patricia Ireland looked or how she was dressed, except her own quote.

The articles were factual and yet had a human interest angle that avoided sexist gaffes.
