The judge who freed Julio Machado on Friday has ruled that the Milwaukee Brewer relief pitcher must stay in Venezuela for the time being. Machado, charged with unintentional murder in the shooting death of a Venezuelan woman, must stay near his home in Maracaibo until Judge Rimer de Orellana rules on a prosecution motion that he not be allowed to leave the country until after his trial. Such rulings can take months.
