A Contest for Writers

Those whose theatrical creativity is in writing may want to enter the California Young Playwrights Contest. Sponsored by the San Diego-based Playwrights Project, the contest is open to California residents up to age 19. Entries must be submitted by May 1.
All who submit an entry will get a critique of their work, and the winning plays will be produced in San Diego. Debra Salzer is executive director of the Playwrights Project, now in its seventh year. For more information, call 232-6188.
