Sabena Cancels $205-Million Boeing Order: The cash-strapped national airline of Belgium canceled an order for five Boeing 737-500s, but the Czechoslovak national airline, CSA, agreed to take the planes, a Sabena executive said. Sabena was forced to cancel the order because it is out of money, said a company official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. CSA’s intervention prevented Sabena from facing penalty payments for canceling its firm order for the jets.
