World IN BRIEF : CHINA : Export of Reactors to Syria, Ghana Due

Miniature nuclear reactors will be exported to Syria and Ghana, the official New China News Agency reported. Beijing first announced nuclear deals with other countries last year, apparently to counter Western criticism of its usually secretive nuclear technology transfers. The news agency said both Ghana and Syria will get 30-kilowatt miniature reactors and reactor fuel.
