Walnut : Rules on In-Line Skating

New rules regulating the use of in-line skates are on the books in Walnut.

The ordinance, which was unanimously approved in a final vote by the City Council last week, allows the city to prohibit in-line skating in designated areas of municipal parks and sets a 25-m.p.h. speed limit on enthusiasts.

The ordinance goes into effect in early May.
