S. Korean Foreign Minister Visits China

BEIJING —
South Korea’s foreign minister arrived Sunday for the first visit to China by a Seoul official of his rank.
Lee Sang Ock came to attend a U.N. gathering on economic development in Asia, but he also plans to meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Qian Qichen to discuss normalizing relations between China and South Korea.
