World IN BRIEF : AFRICA : 356 Missing After 2 Ships Collide

Up to 356 people were missing after two boats collided in high seas between Nigeria and Cameroon, the News Agency of Nigeria said. NAN, quoting a survivor, said 144 of the estimated 500 people aboard the two vessels had been rescued in the midweek incident. The independent Daily Sketch said many victims were traders and Nigerians returning home for Easter.
