Two Indiana women’s basketball players, Karen Redenbaugh and Kimberly Hooper, have been placed in pretrial diversion programs after their arrest April 11 on alcohol-related charges, the prosecutor’s office in Bloomington, Ind., said. The women, both 18, were arrested along with about 20 others after police conducted “saturation patrols” of several Bloomington apartment complexes. Prosecutor Bob Miller said that if the women complete the diversion program, charges will be dropped.
