Nursing Professor Wins Human Rights Award

Marsha Fowler, professor in the School of Nursing and the C.P. Haggard School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University, has been named the 1992 recipient of the American Nursing Assn. Honorary Human Rights Award.

She is a member of the California Nurses Assn. Ethics Committee.

Her most recent work focuses on the establishment of parish nursing as a professional specialty that incorporates ethics, human rights, respect for human dignity and the spiritual needs of patients.
