Al Martinez on Hatred

In response to Al Martinez’s column “Hate, Hatred, Haters,” April 7:

My sincere congratulations to Martinez. His article on hatred was focused and to the point. This hate that prevails will prevent our country from achieving its goals and will reduce us to a second-rate power. Hatred is human but it is a behavior and can be changed. It must be changed for progress to be made in this country. We must come together without hate in our hearts.
