Milwaukee police said they may file homicide charges against Jess Anderson, whose wife was fatally stabbed in an attack blamed on muggers. Anderson, 33, had told police that two men stabbed him and his wife, Barbara, 33, outside a restaurant. She died two days later. Anderson, a fuel salesman, was released from the hospital over the weekend. He was arrested and jailed in lieu of a $1-million cash bond. “We have cause to question the initial facts as presented,” Police Chief Phillip Arreola told reporters.
