Dornan Plight Fails to Win Sympathy Vote

Share

Is it any wonder that the public is fed up with politicians? A flight attendant follows the FAA rules and Dornan feels discriminated against. What about the passenger behind him who is put at risk because his seat is not upright on takeoff?

If he had a problem, and was aware he could not comply with the safety regulations, why didn’t he make arrangements in advance? Not as was stated in the article--get permission of other flight attendants.

Thank God some employees take safety seriously. Most of us who fly have seen customers who think they are above the rules. An airline employee who takes a firm hand is a representative of an airline that I want to fly on.

As for Dornan’s comment about feeling like a “little waif”--well, frankly, I’m glad he had to face some penalty for his outlandish actions. To involve the taxpayers by filing a superfluous lawsuit over his own poor planning is just too much to believe.
