Here is a list of the 51 killings that have been tentatively linked by the coroner’s office to riots that followed the not guilty verdicts in the trial of officers accused in the beating of Rodney G. King.

WEDNESDAY

* 8:15 p.m.: Louis Watson, 18, of West 43rd Place was fatally wounded by a gunshot to the head at a bus stop at Vernon and Vermont avenues.

* Moments later: Dwight Taylor, a 42-year-old black man, was fatally shot at 446 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

* 9 p.m.: Arturo Miranda, 20, of West 120th Street was fatally shot in his car at 120th Street and Central Avenue.

* 9:26 p.m.: Edward Travens, a 15-year-old white youth, was killed in a drive-by shooting at San Fernando Road and Workman Street in the San Fernando Valley community of Mission Hills. Coroner’s officials said they had reason to believe it was linked to racial unrest.

* 10:40 p.m.: Anthony Netherly, 21, a black man, was fatally shot at 78th and San Pedro streets.

* 11:12 p.m. An unidentified 29-year-old black man died at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital from injuries suffered when he fell from the rear of a truck.

* 11:15 p.m.: Elbert Wilkins, 33, a black man, died at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center after being shot in the back at 92nd Street and Western Avenue.

* 11:45 p.m.: Ernest Neal Jr., 27, a black man, died after being shot in the head in the same incident at 92nd Street and Western Avenue.

* Shortly after 11 p.m.: Two men were fatally shot in a gun battle with LAPD officers at the Nickerson Gardens housing project. One of the men was identified as Dennis Jackson, 38, of Alvaro Street in Watts.

THURSDAY

* Just after midnight: Darnell Malory, 18, Jerel Channel, 25, and a 38-year-old woman died in a car wreck at Santa Monica Boulevard and Seward Street in Hollywood while being chased by Beverly Hills police.

* 12:10 a.m.: Ira McCurry, 45, a white man, was fatally shot at 102nd Street and Avalon Boulevard. McCurry was shot in the head when he tried to stop looters from burning a liquor store next to his house.

* 12:30 a.m.: Deandre Harrison, a 17-year-old black youth, was shot at 114th Street and Central Avenue and later died at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center.

* 12:30 p.m.: An unidentified black man died of gunshot wounds at 614 S. Locust Ave. in Compton. Police officials, however, said they do not believe the shooting was riot-related.

* 1:30 p.m.: After flying to Los Angeles to inspect his machine shop, Howard Epstein of Orinda, Calif., was shot to death near 7th and Slauson avenues and his car was ransacked by looters.

* 1:35 p.m. Jose L. Garcia Jr., 15, died of gunshot wounds at Fresno Street and Atlantic Avenue.

* About 2 p.m.: Compton police reported that a male was fatally shot in an officer-involved incident at Rosecrans and Chester avenues.

* 5 p.m.: A 15-year-old black male was shot and killed by sheriff’s deputies at 107th and Burin streets in the Lennox area after allegedly looting a jewelry store and firing at officers. A second male was wounded and escaped.

* 5 p.m.: Patrick Bettan, 30, a white male, died of gunshot wounds suffered at 2740 W. Olympic Blvd.

* 5:06 p.m.: A Latino man was hit and killed in a traffic accident at 16th Street and Central Avenue.

* 5:32 p.m. A 49-year-old Latino male was gunned down at 3rd Street and Vermont Avenue.

* About 6:30 p.m.: Matthew Haines, 32, white auto mechanic, was pulled off his motorcycle at 19th and Lemon streets in Long Beach by a mob and fatally shot in the head. His nephew, a passenger, was wounded by a gunshot in the arm.

* Time unknown: An Asian man was found shot to death at Willowbrook Avenue and Alondra Boulevard.

* About 8 p.m.: LAPD officers shot and killed a male Latino suspected of looting a Shell service station at Western and Vernon avenues and pointing a shotgun at police.

* 8:21 p.m.: A 32-year-old male Latino was stabbed to death at 2034 W. Pico Blvd.

* 8:36 p.m.: Gregory Davis, a 15-year-old black youth, died at County-USC Medical Center of gunshot wounds suffered Wednesday night while standing on his front lawn near Vermont Avenue and 43rd Street. Police investigators believe the bullet was shot randomly from blocks away.

* 9:37 p.m.: Eduardo Vela, a 34-year-old Latino from Bakersfield area, died of gunshot wounds suffered at 5142 W. Slauson Ave. He had driven to Los Angeles with a friend to take care of personal business. Trapped in an area of unrest, the friend left the car to call his boss and tell him the two would not make it back for work. When the friend returned, Vela was dead.

* About 10 p.m.: LAPD officers shot and killed a male Latino suspected of looting at 6th and Westlake streets when he drew what turned out to be a toy gun.

* 10:30 p.m.: Edward Song Lee, 18, was shot in a confusing cross-fire of two rival groups and LAPD officers at 3rd and Hobart streets. It was unclear if Lee, identified by coroner’s officials as being of Korean descent, was shot by officers or civilians.

* 11:18 p.m.: Juan Tineda a 19-year-old Latino, was shot to death at 4028 Santa Monica Blvd.

FRIDAY

* 12:52 a.m.: A 25-year-old Latino male died of gunshot wounds suffered at Vermont Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.

* 1:10 a.m.: Kevin Evanahen, 24, died while trying to put out a fire at a check-cashing store at Braddock Drive and Inglewood Boulevard.

* 3:04 a.m.: A white male of undetermined age was found burned to death in a possible arson at 3526 Winslow Drive.

* 4:45 a.m.: Meeker Gibson, 35, a black male, was shot to death at Holt and Loranne avenues in Pomona.

* Time unknown: A black male was shot to death at 614 S. Locust St. in Compton.

* Time unknown: A male Latino was brought dead on arrival to County-USC Medical Center with a gunshot wound. The location of the shooting was not known.

* Time unknown: A body was found in the charred remains of a building at 2882 W. 9th St. The age, sex and race of the victim were not immediately determined.

* Around dusk: Two LAPD officers patrolling near Florence Boulevard and the Harbor Freeway were ambushed by three snipers and returned fire, killing a 25-year-old unidentified black man.

* Early evening: A 68-year-old white male was strangled at a looting scene at 11690 Gateway St. Coroner’s officials said the man might have been a store proprietor trying to stop looting.

* 8:19 p.m.: A 32-year-old black man died of a gunshot wound at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital.

SATURDAY

* 12:22 a.m.: A black woman, 43, was killed in a hit-and-run traffic accident near the Harbor Freeway and Slauson Avenue.

* About 1 p.m.: Firefighters found a burned body in the rubble of a Pep Boys auto parts store at Slauson and Vermont avenues. It was not immediately clear how the person died.

* 11 a.m. A 65-year-old Latino woman was shot to death while walking down the street at 7608 S. Compton Ave. in Florence. She died shortly after midnight.

* Time unknown: A 24-year-old black woman died of gunshot wounds at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital. She was shot at 2137 East 115th St.

SUNDAY

* Just after midnight: A 22-year-old black man, Howard Eugene Martin, was shot to death in Pasadena after an alleged shootout between alleged gang members and police. Police said the incident was unrelated to the riots, but the coroner’s office kept it on the list.

* 2:12 a.m.: Hugo Gutierrez, 23, was found face-down in the street, with a gunshot wound to the head, at 12732 Bess St. in Baldwin Park.

* Time unknown: A dead person, sex and age unknown, was found near the San Diego Freeway off ramp to San Fernando Mission Road.

* Time unknown: An 89-year-old woman who suffered heart trouble at her home at 1649 W. 60th Street during the rioting Thursday and was taken to Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, where she died.

* 10:05 p.m.: A male Latino in his early 30s died at California Hospital Medical Center after being shot by three National Guardsmen at 7:50 p.m. at Pico and Vermont. Police said he ran a barricade and then drove toward Guardsmen.
