Greg LeMond regained a precarious lead with an 11th-place finish in the most difficult stage of the Tour Du Pont cycling race at Wintergreen, Va.
LeMond, three-time Tour de France winner, completed the 98.3 miles from The Homestead to Wintergreen Resort 43 seconds behind Herbert Niederberger of Switzerland.
