CLIPBOARD : Notifiable Diseases Report

Each week the Orange County Public Health Department reports to the state the incidence of various notifiable diseases in the county. Because they are based on reporting dates instead of when the disease was diagnosed, totals can sometimes fluctuate. For example, the AIDS figures reported below, in excess of 100% higher than for the comparable period last year, may be accounted for by intensified reporting efforts. The following table details a selection of these reportable afflictions for March, the most recent month for which information is available:
