Onassis, Kennedy Children Present Award to Weicker

BOSTON —
Connecticut Gov. Lowell P. Weicker Jr., who battled to win his state’s first personal income tax, was honored Thursday with the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation’s third annual Profile in Courage award.
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, her children and other relatives presented Weicker with the award, named for the late President’s 1957 Pulitzer Prize-winning book in which he lauded politicians who showed courage in office.
