FDA Scrutiny a Necessity

Share

Recently you had an article about health food store owners protesting a tightening of FDA scrutiny of their products. Of course they will be unhappy if there is pressure for their many “pure” and “natural” labels to be truthful.

Any customer going into such a store should be wary of the widespread deception in the labeling and the gross ignorance of the clerks.

My wife has suffered irreparable and severe damage due to her consuming contaminated L-tryptophan bought in a health food store. She has had 24-hour-a-day nurses for almost three years and suffers the ravages of Eosinophilia Myalgia Syndrome (EMS) and so do about 10 other people in the Conejo. Thirty-eight have died and 1,553 afflicted by a bad product sold by various health food stores.

Who in their right mind would object to FDA inspection? Only the very greedy.
