Dubai Airline Orders Boeing 777s: A Middle East airline signed a $1.5-billion deal for seven twin-engined Boeing 777 aircraft with an option to buy seven more. The agreement with Emirates, a carrier owned by the government of Dubai, puts more than 100 of the 777s on order, Seattle-based Boeing said. The planes will be delivered between 1996 and 1997.
