GLOBAL O.C.: Local execs surveyed recently say that by 1997 they expect to sell twice as much abroad as they do now, and UC Irvine management professor Kenneth L. Kraemer attributes this to our large Asian population doing business in home countries. . . . Many executives also believe that the collapse of the Soviet Union will mean doubled Orange County business sales to Eastern Europe, but Kraemer isn’t so sure: “The opportunities are there in the long run, but the market is much slower to develop than most executives would like.”
