Chevron to Sell Sudanese Concession: Chevron Corp. said a subsidiary, Transocean Chevron Co., will sell its holdings in Chevron Oil Co. of Sudan to Concorp International Ltd., headquartered in Khartoum. Concorp, a Sudanese company, acquires rights to 42-million acres, including two exploration areas known as Melut and Muglad. The Muglad includes Unity and Heglig oil fields, which were discovered in 1980 and 1982. Chevron said the sale is part of its current strategy to focus on core assets.
