Lynwood : Applicants Sought for 2 Vacant City Positions
The City Council voted Tuesday night to spend $20,000 to recruit applicants for city manager and director of community development.
A four-month search will include advertisements in newspapers and trade magazines, and a screening of all applicants by a Sacramento-based personnel office.
The vacancies were created when former City Manager Michael Heriot unexpectedly resigned in May and with the death of Community Development Director Kenrick Karifa-Johnson earlier this month.
