SANTA CLARITA : Parks, Recreation Applications Open

The city of Santa Clarita is seeking applicants for a position on the five-member Parks and Recreation Commission.
Monday is the deadline for applying. No applications had been received by late Friday, City Clerk Donna Grindey said.
Councilwoman Jan Heidt will nominate a candidate from among the applicants, and the City Council will vote on her choice, Grindey said.
