* Alexander L. Kyman, 62, president and chief operating officer of City National Bank since 1984, will assume the post of vice chairman of CNB, with operating responsibility for the enhancement and development of customer relationships.
George H. Benter, Jr., 50, will become City National Bank’s new president and chief operating officer. Benter was formerly vice chairman and chief credit officer of Security Pacific National Bank.
Steven D. Broidy, 54, will assume the newly created post of vice chairman and chief administrative officer of CNB. Broidy began his banking career at Union Bank in 1963, rising through the ranks to executive vice president and head of Union’s support division, which encompassed virtually all staff positions. For the past three years, Broidy practiced law as a partner in the firm of Loeb & Loeb.
City National Bank is a wholly owned unit of City National Corp., Beverly Hills.
